Profile

James V George joined the Department of Commerce as Assistant Professor in 2014. He is a member of PG Board of Studies, Commerce constituted by Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. He is also a BoS  Member of Department of Commerce, Sacred Heart College, Thevra. He is pursuing his Doctoral Degree in Finance from Mahatma Gandhi University Kottayam. He has authored  three books  titled Corporate Regulations & Administration, Banking and Insurance and Corporate Law.  Three of his  articles have been published in reputed newspapers. His areas of interest include Business Laws, Taxation, Quantitative Techniques and Derivatives. He has co ordinated many academic programmes such as National level Workshop, Seminar and Invited Talks. He was invited  as a Resource Person in seminars and invited talks by various colleges. He also served as a Quiz Master  in reputed Institutions including Pondicherry University and Nirmala College, Muvattupuzha.   In addition to  the academic endeavors he is also involved in many co-curricular and extra-curricular activities such as NCC, Theatre, Entrepreneurship Development and Agriculture . He has been a resource person and facilitator of the academic activates of Kerala State Janamythri Excise -Devikulam and Tribal Department from 2019.
